Howdy, Howdy! These past couple of weeks have been very hectic for me. My boyfriend and I just bought and moved into our first home together. Upon the first day moving in, the fridge installation team put holes in the walls and banged up the fridge. The washer and dryer was so damaged they wouldn’t even deliver it. We have had multiple phone calls trying to get the company to fix our walls, and I think they’re in the deciding stages right now as to which company to go with. They finally got our washer and dryer delivered, and they replaced the fridge.

The new fridge they sent wouldn’t cool or get to the proper temperature at all. We just had to toss all of our food out while we wait for yet another fridge to be sent our way. On top of all of this, with it being a new home, we needed to set up internet and install a mailbox. We aren’t allowed to have the mailbox in front of our home, instead the city wants it in a row of other mailboxes three blocks away from our house. We got it installed exactly how they told us to, and then they informed us that they actually didn’t want it that way because it didn’t line up with the other mailboxes. But they waited until we had it cemented in and not easily moved. For internet, we are still two weeks out from having it turned on and drilled to the house. By the time it is in, we will have been waiting for five weeks to have it.

Now this week, we have yet another fridge getting delivered and hopefully it works! We have to figure out the mailbox situation ASAP as well. Throughout all of this I have felt very stressed and burnt out. It’s my first home, so I feel like I’m getting a crash-course into adulthood already. But I’m also feeling very blessed. So many friends and family have shown up either to help with installations, moving, and now we have someone holding food for us so we can continue to eat. To help with the stress I have been crafting in my down time. Currently attempting to make a crocheted teddy bear – and failing. I’m also working on a diamond painting when I need a break from devices.

These past couple weeks have been so draining, but so rewarding at the same time. I hope this week goes smoothly and third fridge is fully working! I’d love to know how all of you handled your stress this last week, or how it went in general…

Much love ❤
